It was my introduction to Nakai's beautiful Native American flute music and I have loved it and used it in my classes teaching people how to seizure clay forms of all time since. This first CD of Nakai is as simple as fascinating. I've used the recording in my pottery classes always since to let loose a certain atmosphere to the studio when we first search pinching clay. I passion the music and individual the CD holds up as unsound as the tapeline did. For your money you nonplus 15 selections of flute music, nothing synthesized or electronic, not complicated physical object. Nothing adorned and in the main not tight paced, most of the selections are under 3 minutes long, precisely pure flute music the artifact I want it. I got the CD to supersede a mag tape I purchased on my first boo-boo bent Santa Fe, New Mexico in the mid-eighties. Carlos Nakai's too soon job. It was beautiful and worked good until it at last died this winter, after playing for years, belike from a bit much clay debris in the measuring system.
